A modern oil pipeline is a high-tech transportation system that requires regular updates and qualified maintenance. All parts of the pipeline, such as valves, pumping units, electric motors, must undergo timely repairs and maintenance. This is one of the conditions for the safe transportation of oil along the highways of Transneft Siberia. The Tyumen Repair and Mechanical Plant (TRMZ) of Transneft Siberia, JSC became the technological platform that provides the whole range of work related to the manufacture of products and maintenance of oil pipelines.

But the basis of any production is people whose hands provide repair and maintenance of all systems of oil pipelines. In the year of the 50th anniversary of Transneft Siberia, JSC, we talk about people thanks to whose work the company today looks confidently into the future.

FROM CHILDHOOD WITH EQUIPMENT TO “YOU”

Sergei Sysoev, a leading engineer in the repair and maintenance section of the main oil pipelines of the Tyumen Repair and Mechanical Plant, is a native northerner who was born in the village of Volysyakh, Khanty-Mansiysk District. From school years he loved technology, always tried to figure out how it works.

“As far as I remember, I was always interested in how, for example, the engine works, what function the pistons perform, why this or that mechanism is needed,” says Sergey Viktorovich. - This, probably, predetermined my whole future life. By the time I finished school, I already knew for sure that I would become an engineer. Then there was military service, and this is also a good school of life in the border troops in the Northern Kuril Islands. As soon as he was demobilized, he immediately entered the Tyumen Industrial Institute, chose a specialty: chemical technology of oil and gas processing.

Then, as was the case in Soviet times, he went through a distribution system. In 1984, he was sent to the city of Urai. There he waited for the place of the head of the section of mechanical-technological equipment at the Shaim linear production and dispatch station (LPDS) of the Office of the Main Oil and Gas Pipelines of Western and North-Western Siberia (now Transneft Siberia, JSC).

“I will not hide, it was prestigious for me to take up a leadership position right away,” recalls Sysoev. - But my soul was somehow restless, everyone was thinking how I would work, how to manage people who are twice my age and much more experienced? In the end, he decided, came to the leadership and asked to be transferred to the position of an ordinary locksmith. Today I am sure that this was the most correct decision in my career. The knowledge gained at the institute, of course, greatly helped in the development of technology. But when you start with the basics, when with your own hands you sort through each bolt of such complex units as main pumps and electric motors, a completely different level of professional training is formed. A few years later I was already an accomplished specialist and ready for engineering work.

In 1992, Sergei Viktorovich moved to Tyumen. Here he got a job at the Tyumen Mechanical Repair Plant. Considering the production experience of Sergey Viktorovich, he was taken to the site for repair and maintenance of main oil pipelines.

“Our site mainly provides diagnostics and repair of main and backup pumping units,” Sysoev notes. - This is a very responsible job. The site has a staff of 22 people, and all but one have a higher education or are currently undergoing distance learning at the Tyumen Industrial University. Even the only locksmith who does not have a university degree is going to do this year. And our engineers not only control the work and give instructions, but also work along with the locksmiths with their hands. Firstly, in this way we transfer experience to younger employees, and secondly, the responsibility on our site is too high. Just imagine, an electric motor of a main unit weighing up to 23 tons and a rotor more than two meters long and also weighing several tons, which you need to install and align with an accuracy of several microns. And all this colossus should be synchronized with the pump with perfect accuracy. This is a jewelry work that can only be done by a specialist with extensive experience. Some operations, for example, vibrodiagnostic work, balancing of the rotors of the electric motors of the main units in their own bearings are performed exclusively by engineers.

The site of Sergey Sysoev serves the main and retaining pumping units in the Tyumen, Tobolsk and Uraisk departments of the main oil pipelines of Transneft Siberia, JSC. Dozens of pumping units passed through his hands.

“And I remember each of them, because there are no two absolutely identical units,” notes Sergey Sysoev. - Each has its own character, its own characteristics. If you treat such a serious technique with respect, then it will reciprocate you, it will serve reliably, without unpleasant surprises.

WHEN HANDS A METALSings

They say about such people that they feel the soul of metal. Sergey Yuryevich Khudyakov has been working at the Tyumen Repair and Mechanical Plant for thirty years. The last 11 years - the installer of machines with numerical control (CNC). Prior to that, he worked as a machinist on universal machines: milling, planing. And his father instilled in him a love for this profession, who also worked for many years at TRMZ, which at that time was called the Central Base of Production Services.

Khudyakov graduated from high school in 1985. There was a dream to enter a flight school, but it did not work out - he did not go through a medical examination. At that moment, his father supported Sergey, offering to get a job at his factory. Offer interested. Already at that time, the enterprise was stable both in terms of wages and social responsibility.

- I decided to try it. Since childhood, I love to do equipment, with iron, do something with my hands, dad taught me, ”recalls Sergey Yuryevich. - Settled in a mechanical workshop apprentice milling machine. Three months later, he passed the exam for the assignment of the 3rd category. So I worked for a year. In 1987, the whole workshop took me to the army. He served. I decided to go to the factory again. He came to a new workshop, it was built during my absence. They were waiting for me. So he stayed here at the factory. My father never had to blush for my comrades for me, he justified his hopes: even before the army he received the sign of the Drummer of Communist Labor.

Now Sergey Yuryevich works as an installer of CNC machines in the 8th category. His transition from universal to software machines took place in 2006. The management chose Khudyakov for training and the subsequent development of new equipment. He was enthusiastic about continuing education - learning something was always interesting. He quickly mastered the new production.

“It has become easier to work physically,” notes Khudyakov. - But from the point of view of knowledge, concentration has become more difficult - equipment requires a high concentration of attention. First, a control program for the part is written, then, based on the program, I configure the machine, its equipment. First of all, we work out the part virtually to avoid possible marriage. Then she goes into mass production. In the process of processing I follow the process, adjust the tool, look at the parameters of the machine. There has never been such a thing that I did not know from which end to approach the detail. Complex issues have always been resolved by the team: we, the design department. This is a team work, we always help each other. The main thing in our business is that there is no marriage in the work.

Today Sergey Yuryevich helps to get accustomed to the production of young people, conveys the experience that has been gained over many years. Previously, he took part in contests of professional excellence, took prizes. For good performance in his work, he was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and was awarded a Gratitude from Sibnefteprovod OJSC.

“I have never regretted that I chose this profession,” Sergey Yuryevich comments on his work. - Comes blank, it looks plainly. And at the exit from the hand of the master already has a finished shape. At such moments, the soul rejoices.
