Raw materials
Osnova plant uses only high quality German and Ukrainian PVC profiles for the production of window and door systems.
All profile groups, both supplied and produced in Ukraine, meet the basic requirements of noise and heat insulation, and are also safe for human health, as they are manufactured using a unique greenline technology. Lead, which is traditionally used in the manufacture of PVC, has been replaced by a neutral safe compound "calcium-zinc". The profiles have a gentle White color and retain a pleasant shine and primary beauty for a long time.
Logistics
In 2013, the construction of a logistics center was completed, which provided automated loading of structures, which had a beneficial effect on delivery times.
Each window has a factory marking, which is automatically generated when the window is assembled and contains the necessary information: order number, customer name, overall dimensions of the product, delivery code, barcode.
The logistics department daily forms the best routes for the delivery of products to all regions of Ukraine. For the transportation of windows, trucks equipped with racks, fixing mechanisms and special safety ropes are used.

It's all about the profile: high-quality PVC windows
For our products, we use only the VEKA (Century) brand profile. Windows and doors have passed the 20-year test of time and confirmed high level quality.
How can a profile be better than analogs?
At the VEKA factory, samples are taken from each extrusion line twice a day for examination. Daily monitoring includes several assessment tests:
- - The appearance of the profile is visually assessed.
- - Measure the mass of one running meter of the profile (fluctuations within 4% of the average weight of the VEKA PVC profile are considered permissible).
- - For the main parts of a plastic window (sash, frame, impost, shtulp) an acetone test is carried out: sample PVC profile immersed in acetone and observe its change over time. A high-quality PVC profile should not undergo changes within 5 hours.
In addition, optional profile indicators are necessarily assessed in order to guarantee the quality of VEKA:
- - longitudinal shrinkage of a high-quality VEKA PVC profile when heated at 100 degrees for 1 hour - should not exceed 2%.
- - the impact strength of the falling weight is evaluated. An express method is used, which makes it possible to evaluate both the design of the profile itself and the correctness of maintaining the parameters technological process... The VEKA PVC profile is kept for some time in a freezer at a temperature from 0 to -10 degrees, then a load weighing 1 kg falls on the profile from a height of 1 meter. The quality of the VEKA PVC profile is considered to be in accordance with the norm if only 1 out of 10 samples is destroyed during strength tests. With this type of test, the mass of the load and the height from which it falls can change.
- - the reliability of the welded seam connecting different parts of VEKA PVC windows is checked: the welded seam must withstand a load of 400 kg.

Manufacturing of any designs
The first window production appeared in Moscow in 1995, before that all euro-windows (as PVC windows with double-glazed windows were called then) were imported to Russia from Eastern Europe, in particular: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, already assembled, ready for installation.
In 1996, Business-M entered the window business. During the year, the first experience in the installation and delivery of plastic windows and doors from third-party manufacturers was obtained. In 1997 in Moscow opens own production company Business-M for the production of plastic windows and PVC doors.
Since the launch of the first line for the assembly of standard PVC windows, the plant has changed and modernized many times, mastering all new methods of production and use of PVC profiles for the manufacture of window and door blocks of various shapes and configurations.

According to the thickness of the inner walls, ALL our profiles are of the highest class "A" - the thickness of their front wall is not less than 3 mm.

- class "C": wall thickness is not standardized
Please note that 80-90% Russian market these are classes "B" and "C" and only 10-20% of profiles of class "A". At the same time, VEKA's assortment includes ONLY A-class profiles.
In principle, we DO NOT use profile systems of classes "B" and "C" (with a front wall width less than 3.0 mm).
ONLY frost-resistant profiles
According to GOST 30673-99 "PVC profiles for window and door blocks" in terms of resistance to climatic influences, ALL our profiles are "frost-resistant" - for areas with an AVERAGE monthly air temperature in January BELOW minus 20 ° С.
GOST standards for different classes:
- normal version "H": average temperature in January - minus 20 ° С and above
- frost-resistant version "M": the average temperature in January is lower than minus 20 ° С
Our range includes ONLY frost-resistant profile systems, marked with the letter "M".
Heat transfer resistance (thermal resistance) is the main coefficient of thermal insulation. It is determined by the ratio of the temperature difference between the outside and inside the room to the heat flux passing through the window. The higher this number, the better efficiency thermal insulation.

Our multifunctional double-glazed windows work for you both in winter and in summer. In winter, the deposition of silver particles saves up to 90% of the thermal energy of heating devices, and in summer, a glass unit reflects 25% more solar heat than conventional plastic windows.

Climate control systems AirDrive I, II and III
Optimal ventilation mechanisms are built into the windows - the sashes open slightly by 1-5 mm, depending on the selected mode. These are NOT external devices (combs or valves), namely BUILT-IN hardware ventilation.

We try not to put combs because of their appearance(only at your request). In principle, we do not use valves due to the fact that they violate the integrity of the window, reduce its tightness and strength (since the profile and its reinforcement are drilled through).
MAXIMUM steel profile reinforcement
Reinforcement is a steel frame inside a PVC profile. It is this that gives the rigidity of the structure. The more steel and stiffening angles, the more reliable the geometry of the window.
Reinforcement types:
- Square - 100% reinforcement on 4 sides, 4 stiffeners (maximum)
- U-shaped - 75% reinforcement on 3 sides, 2 stiffeners (normal)
- L-shaped - 50% reinforcement on 2 sides, 1 stiffener (very, very bad!)
All our profiles are reinforced MAXIMUM - from 4 sides and always with 4 stiffeners.
