What is foam rubber?
Poropolone is a two-component polyurethane foam. Since foam rubber is a PPU with very low density, it is logical that the components for it are also a political scientist and isocyanate. The properties of the final product are directly dependent on the recipe (volume and mass ratio of components, additives, plasticizers, dilutes). Usually, in the manufacture of products on the same filling machine, the same isocyanate is used, and the second component - the polyol is selected depending on the case market. And additives are poured into it. What kind of additives and additives necessary for a particular product gives a technotel or laboratory of the manufacturer of components.
Principle of operation of the filling unit.
The main assembly of the fill machine is a mixing chamber in which polyols and additives come. There they quickly mix and already in a homogeneous state enter the second mixing chamber where even faster mixed with isocyanate. And then all this mass is fed. The greater the bunker for the foam block, the more components initially must move. Most often, the fill in the form makes one time. But if there is a need to perform products from two or more types of foam rubber, then the fill can be performed in several techniques by observing the polymerization technology of each of the layers using intermediate primers.
When pouring the foam blocks, the surface of the shape is processed by a special composition, to prevent sticking. Or before the fill of the components in the form laid polyethylene. Polyethylene is one of the few materials to which PPU does not stick.
