Wide are you, Rus', across the face of the earth

She turned around in royal beauty.

Enter a warm house with a bow,

Yes, ask your heart for advice!

Dewy, joyful, early horn,

Just sit down for a minute and listen -

You will be heard, my friend.

Girls come out and sing the folk song “Russian birch scattered its braids.”

The girls are preening. The kutya is placed, a candle is lit, the hostess takes a spoonful of kutya and throws it out the window.

Frost, frost, come to us to eat kutya, and don’t freeze our bread in the field.

Gets baptized.
Everyone takes spoons and tastes the kutya.

Girls: Good kutya! With honey and raisins!

Hostess: Come on, click the chicken under the table so that the bird will be found.

Everyone is nodding. A shepherd enters with a bag.

Shepherd: Peace be with you, good people! Merry Christmas!

Hostess: You are welcome, shepherdess.

Shepherd: I sow, I will sow spring wheat, oats, buckwheat, for calves, for lambs and not all peasants.

Hostess: Help yourself, good man.

Cookies are served in the shape of animal figures.

Hostess: Then put your rings under the napkin.

(Girls put rings)

Mistress: (moves hands over the dish) . Guess, guess, girl, whose hand is it?

(Pulls out the ring).

Girl: Mine!

Hostess: An epic in gold - you'll get along with a good guy. You'll live, you'll experience it, you won't cry out of grief.

The girls congratulate the lucky girl.

Mistress: Do you want to see the groom?

Girl: I want it!

Mistress: Then look, without stopping, in the mirror. You'll see there. And say the following words: “Betrothed, dressed up, come to me dressed up.”

(Track 4)

The girl repeats the words. The mummers enter with the Goat.

Mummers: Hello, honest and godly people, covered with matting! For a copper nickel we’ll show you everything this way and that way! Kozonka, bow to the hostess and kiss her hand!

Buffoon:

Russian proverb says:

“It’s time for business, time for fun!”

Now the moment of farewell has come.

Our speech will be short,

We say to you: “Goodbye!

See you happy next time!”

Application

Game "Kite"

The players choose a kite and a hen, the rest choose chickens. The kite digs a hole, and the hen with her chicks walks around him and chants the words:

I walk around the kite,

I carry three pieces of money,

For a penny, for an owl.

The kite continues to dig the ground, it walks around the hole, stands up, flaps its wings, and crouches. The mother hen with her chicks stops and asks the kite:

Kite, kite, what are you doing?

I'm digging a hole.

What do you need a hole for?

I'm looking for a pretty penny.

What do you need a penny for?

I'll buy a needle.

Why do you need a needle?

Sew a bag.

Why do you need a bag?

Place pebbles.

Why do you need pebbles?

To throw at your children.

For what?

They're creeping into my garden!

You should make the fence higher, if you don’t know how, then catch them.

The kite tries to catch the chickens, the hen protects them, chases the kite: “Shi, shi, villain!” The caught chicken leaves the game, and the kite continues to catch the next one. The game ends when several chickens are caught.

Chicks should hold each other tightly by the waist. Anyone who cannot stay in the chain must try to quickly get into his place. The hen, protecting the chickens from the kite, does not have the right to push it away with her hands.

“Malechina – kalechina”

The players choose a leader. Each player picks up a small stick (20-30 cm long). Everyone says these words:

Malechina - kalechina, how many hours

What's left until evening, until winter?

After the words “before winter,” children place a stick on their palm or on any finger of their right (left) hand. As soon as the children put down the sticks, the leader counts: “One, two, three... Ten.” The one who holds the item longer wins. The leader can give different tasks: the players, holding a stick, must walk, squat, turn right, left, around themselves.

Children should spread out across the entire playground and stand as far away from each other as possible to make it easier to maintain balance for the stick.

Option: to complicate the task, players can be asked to simultaneously hold two sticks on two palms (on the right and on the left).

The great culture of the Russian people has evolved over thousands of years. It is replete with its customs, traditions and rituals. But in our time, when much has been lost and forgotten, when the living conditions of the people have changed beyond recognition, we know very little about our roots, about the life of our ancestors.

It is a pity that young people, trying to imitate foreign “mass culture”, increasingly including foreign words in their vocabulary, creating idols for themselves from animated films and feature films of the West, have a very vague idea of their native culture. But Russian folklore - songs, epics, fairy tales - Orthodox holidays: Easter, Christmas, Epiphany, Trinity, celebrated with such breadth, scope and fun - this is our culture, our traditions, our heritage, which is an inexhaustible source of beauty, creativity, kindness and wisdom of the people.

It is appropriate to remember one of the brightest Christian holidays - Christmas. In the Orthodox calendar, this is the second most important holiday after Easter. It is called the "mother of all holidays." Indeed, with the birth of Jesus Christ - the son of God, the Savior of the world - his earthly life, suffering, death and resurrection begins. The significance of this Holy night is so great that we even trace the entire course of modern history and our very chronology from the Nativity of Christ.

The Christmas holiday naturally merged with the New Year. This holiday is an innovation of Peter 1, who issued a decree: the New Year in Russia is counted not from September 1, as before, but from January 1. And he ordered to celebrate this holiday with a decorated Christmas tree.

Until 1917, the holiday of the Nativity of Christ was national and one of the most beloved in Russia. What do we know about him now? What is a Christmas tree? How was it organized? Why was it the spruce tree that was decorated during Christmas? “The Legend of the Christmas Tree” by an unknown author will help your child answer these questions, from which we learn that on Christmas night the angel decorated not the palm tree that gave the baby coolness on a hot day, not the olive tree that filled the cave with fragrance, but a modest, kind spruce: “... The dark sky was dotted with sparkling stars. The angel made a sign, and one star after another began to roll down to the ground, right onto the green branches of the tree, and soon it all shone with brilliant lights. And when the Divine Child woke up, it was not the fragrance in the cave, not the luxurious fan of the palm tree that attracted His attention, but the shining tree. He looked at her and smiled at her and extended his hands to her..."

Since then, every year at this time the tree flaunts the radiance of many lights and small children rejoice and have fun looking at it. So the modest green tree became a sign of a merry Christmas holiday. The evergreen branches of the spruce were a symbol of the renewal of life, and the star on the top of its head was a harbinger of Christmas, the birth of the Divine Child.

On holidays, in the houses of wealthy owners (landowners, merchants), a tall fir tree with lit candles was installed in the largest hall. The Christmas tree was decorated with beads, homemade toys, gingerbread cookies and sweets, stars of different shapes, different configurations, and the children always competed to see whose star was more beautiful and original. My grandmother passed on to me as a child the secret of making an 8-pointed three-dimensional Christmas star from strips of multi-colored paper. It was passed down in our family from generation to generation. I still decorate the Christmas tree with such unusual original stars. In addition, in kindergarten we decorate the Christmas tree with colored bows, which gives it a special elegance and solemnity.

In addition to the owner's children, children from neighboring poor families were invited to the Christmas tree. The children admired the majestic beauty, examined her decoration, sang songs, danced in circles, played, read poetry, and acted out skits. Adults took part in children's parties. At the end of the celebration, the hosts always presented all those invited with gifts.

The day preceding the feast of the Nativity of Christ is called Christmas Eve by the church. According to a long-standing Russian tradition, on this day they do not eat until the first star appears in the sky - in memory of the Star of Bethlehem. A solemn service was held in churches in the evening hours. In peasant families, while waiting for the star, everyone read the evening prayer together. The elders told the children about the birth of Jesus Christ. Thus. Respect for Sacred History was brought up in the child.

Many different folk signs and beliefs are associated with Christmas Eve. The evening sky, stars, and weather were used to determine what the harvest would be like. For example, if the sky is strewn with stars, expect a lot of mushrooms and berries in the forest, a pea harvest and a rich litter of livestock. If there is frost on the trees - there will be plenty of bread, if there is a snowstorm in the yard - bees will swarm.

In the morning, the shepherds, going around the courtyards and houses, sowed the huts with oats, congratulated the owners on the holiday, saying: “There are calves on the floor, lambs under the bench, kids on the bench” or “Lambs behind the bench, calves at the bench, and piglets all over the hut.” "

The days after the Nativity of Christ until Epiphany, or Epiphany, were called Christmastide, i.e. holy days. They were also celebrated widely and cheerfully. At this time, there was a custom to dress up, tell fortunes, organize sleigh rides, ride baskets down the mountain, and dance.

Mummering has ancient origins, it originates from the pagan Slavs and serves as a symbol of the renewal of nature. The mummers are traditionally a goat (or goat), a bear, a grandfather, a woman, a soldier, buffoons, etc. The mummers are dressed in any way they like. So, a goat in a fur vest, on his face is a half mask with long horns attached to it, the buffoons have hats with bells and brightly painted faces.

Christmas holidays would not be complete without “scary” characters. There was a popular belief that throughout the Christmas week, an evil spirit would roll through the streets, emerging from its hiding places, frightening passers-by. Hence, in the script for my holiday, the “scary” heroes are the Devil and the Goblin. The Devil has a long tail and a black cap with horns on his head, the Leshy has a beard made of bast or flax.

In order not to bother with changing clothes, it is better for everyone to come to the holiday in disguise. It is important that every child has a sense of participation in the live action.

On the eve of Christmas, mummers walked around the houses of their village with jokes and jokes, carrying a homemade star made of foil or colored paper on a stick (it personified the star of Christ), and received treats and gifts for singing carols. The carolers took the Goat home. It was a funny game, which was based on the ancient belief of our ancestors: the Goat (Goat) was a symbol of vitality, and it was supposed to bring this strength to the owner of the hut, his land, his field, so that bread would grow better. The Goat (Goat) was usually portrayed by one of the guys. At the same time, the Goat danced, and her retinue sang a song in which Kolyada was asked for things needed in the peasant household for the owner. At the same time, the carolers explained: “Where the Goat walks, there it will give birth…”, etc. The goat was forced to bow to its owners, and when it fell, as if by accident, they asked the owners for a treat.

Carol songs, called “ovseny”, usually had a majestic character: they sang the hospitality of the owners, their wealth (even if the family was poor), their work on the land was glorified, congratulations on the holiday and wishes for health, a rich harvest, offspring, and happiness were sung. In return, carolers were supposed to be treated and given gifts. At a party in kindergarten, we usually use this moment as a surprise.

It is hardly possible to name other such joyful holidays in Rus' as Christmas and Christmastide. Christmas tree, children's parties with long-awaited gifts, fortune-telling for young girls... The most beloved and widely known of them are fortune-telling accompanied by sub-bowl songs. It happened like this: on a large dish under a towel, the girls put various small things - combs, thimbles, ribbons, but most often rings... One of the girls gathered for the fortune-telling, without looking, groped and took out the things one after another. At this time, her friends sang songs with various predictions: there was happiness, and grief, and good luck, and the road, and the wedding. Our holiday game of “forfeits” with a goat is based on this principle.

In a number of places in Russia (in particular, in the Kaluga province), an element of Christmas entertainment is a folk puppet theater - a nativity scene. The nativity scene was a box made in the form of a cave. Wooden figures were placed inside it and candles were lit. Slavilshiki moved figures and acted out scenes of the birth of Christ. Over time, having expanded their repertoire, nativity scenes turned into real folk theater.

Over the years, I have met and talked about ancient holidays, traditions, signs and rituals associated with them with older people who shared memories of their childhood or stories of their elders. The collected material helped me recreate a picture of the Christmas holidays on our Kaluga land and develop a script for a theatrical Christmas holiday with elements of folklore. Its purpose is to attract the attention of teachers to the Christian tradition that has developed in Rus' over many centuries, to introduce them to the spiritual and moral origins and to provide the necessary practical material for holding a Christmas tree.

I would like to hope that the Christmas tree holiday I proposed (which, by the way, can be used both in preschool institutions and in elementary schools) will at least to some extent help teachers introduce children to the world of Russian folk culture, introduce them to poetic, musical and gaming folklore. During the work, the script can be shortened or, conversely, supplemented with your own materials at the discretion of the teacher.

Dense forest, Silence.
The moon is shining in the sky.
The animals are sleeping, the birds are asleep -
They have been dreaming sweet dreams for a long time...
Suddenly between the fir trees and birches
Santa Claus appeared.

Music sounds and Santa Claus appears.

Father Frost:

Have fun, blizzards,
Bend, pines, bend, spruces!
Everything that is in my forest -
I'll fill everything up and bring it in!

Covers the trees with snow. The Devil and the Leshy appear from behind.

The devil: Let him fall asleep, carry him away.

Goblin: Let all the people freeze!

Santa Claus leaves, the music stops.

Frost left, everything became quiet again.
The stars twinkle above...
And in this fairy tale, Oak and Birch
They spoke in silence.

Oak: Hey, neighbor Birch, are you awake?

Birch: What song just flew by? She woke me up.

Oak: Don’t you know the song about the Christmas tree? Then I will tell you an old legend. Listen!

Once upon a time in Bethlehem
The savior of the world is born.
And in honor of Him at that cave
The sacred ceremony has begun.
And, glorifying the Nativity of Christ,
A line of people walked there...
And even grass and trees
They started talking among themselves.
The palm tree said: “I am leafing
I’ll cover the baby on a hot day.”
“And I, with my fragrance, -
Maslina says in response,
I will freshen his breath, -
After all, there is no more tender tree!”
And the spruce without envy, but with sadness
I looked at my friends...
How poor and unworthy she is
Appear to Christ? But suddenly
An angel came down and said to her:
“Don't humiliate yourself.
You are very modest and beautiful,
And I will exalt you."
And here is the Divine Child,
Waking up, he sees before him
The shining of stars from the sky
There was a modest one on the branches.”
(V. Savinsky)

The curtain slowly opens to the music. In the center there is a decorated fir tree with a burning star at the top.

Presenter ( In Russian costume).

And here the first star has lit up!
It's time to wake up the village!
Wake up, people -
Come out of the gate!
(Children stand around the Christmas tree)
Like on a frosty day
The guests have arrived
On Christmas Day,
The most festive.
How many songs are there?
So much laughter here
How much joy
The most colorful!

Children dance around the Christmas tree, sing the song “Russian Winter” (music and lyrics by L. Olifirova “In the Land of Merry Songs” (Library of the magazine “Preschool Education”, 2002).

Santa Claus: Hello, my little friends! What did you come here for - fun or a fairy tale?

Children: For a fairy tale!

Santa Claus: Well, sit down comfortably. Listen!

Our Christmas tree is dressed up,
Sparkled like white snow,
Everything lit up with lights -
This fairy tale has begun.
Snowstorms raged here,
The birches and spruce trees are sleeping now...
Everyone fell asleep, Silence.
The moon appears.

Month ( boy).

I only walk at night -
I illuminate the earth from above.
Only I will ascend to heaven -
I lead the stars with me.

Asterisks ( girls).

We are frequent stars
Golden, big-eyed.
- We dance, we don’t cry,
We hide behind the clouds.
- And on Christmas night
We wouldn't mind shining a light on you!

“Dance of the Stars” is performed to the song by A. Rybnikov from the movie “Little Red Riding Hood”

Our Christmas tree is lit up
Glistening with lights.
I invite everyone, everyone, everyone
Have fun with us!

Children dance around the Christmas tree.

The stars are lighting up -
The fun begins!

Goblin ( because of the tree) And nothing works!

Damn: Put out the Christmas tree! ( They blow, the tree goes out) Like this!

They sit under the tree.
Music is playing. Santa Claus appears.

Santa Claus: Hello, little children, beautiful maidens and kind fellows!

I came to glorify Christ,
And congratulate you on the holiday!
Happy New Year to your guests
From all villages, from all volosts!

Is everything okay at your holiday? Is everything alright?

Presenter: Not everything is fine, not everything is good.

Santa Claus: What is it?

Presenter: The Devil and Leshim were angry with us - they extinguished the Christmas tree. And now at the holiday, sonorous songs are not sung, fun games are not played.

Santa Claus: Hello, Leshiy-grandfather!

Leshy: What? How gray am I? I know that myself.

Santa Claus: Oh, talk to a deaf person here! You, Leshy, need to be treated!

Leshy: Why wet me? I'm dry...

Damn: He's dry as a leaf.

Santa Claus: I say: “Don’t wet it, but treat it!”

Leshy: What, take me around the village? No, I want to go home to the forest.

Devil: Yeah, we want to go to the forest!

Santa Claus: Wait, wait. First, light the Christmas tree for the children. Don't ruin our holiday.

The children sang and danced
There was a merry dance.
Your songs woke me up
They disturbed us all.

Leshy: We won’t light the Christmas tree! Let's not let you have fun!

Santa Claus: Oh, right?

I have a pipe
Samogoo pipe.
She sings, plays,
Makes everyone dance.

He plays the pipe. The goblin and the devil at first, as if reluctantly, against their will, move their legs, then they dance more and more cheerfully and fieryly, and, finally, tired, they ask Santa Claus to stop the music.

Santa Claus: Light the Christmas tree - then I’ll have mercy. That's right, kids7

The Devil and Leshiyo blow on the tree three times, clap their hands three times, and say magic words. The tree is sparkling with lights again. The Devil and Leshy run away.

Santa Claus: Let them go. And we will cover their traces with white snow so that they won’t find their way back!

White flakes are flying
Snow is spreading through the forest.
This is coming to us for a holiday
White blizzard.

The music “Blizzard” from the opera “Yolochkin's Dream” by A. Grechaninov is playing.

Presenter: I know that in the kingdom of Metelitsa there are many feather beds and pillows from which she knocks snow. And she knocks it out often because she loves cleanliness.

Metelitsa:

I have a feather bed -
There are countless feathers in it.
These feathers are not from a bird,
Not from a goose or a tit.
There are snowflakes in the feather bed,
Fidgety and funny.
I'll slap the pillow
And the whole family of snowflakes
They will spin together in a dance,
It will sweep, it will wind.
Come on, dear snowflakes,
Fly out of the feather bed!

“Dance of Snowflakes” is performed to “Waltz” by A. Petrov from the film “Beware of the Car”

Metelitsa:

Fly, snowflakes, fly!
Say hi to the guys
From grandma Vyuga the old woman.
I love beating pillows!

Father Frost:

And on the Vyugina feather bed
The penguins will dance for us.

Children perform "Penguin Dance" ( Appendix 2)

Two boys, Foma and Erema, come out from behind the tree, towards each other.

Foma and Erema: And here we are both – Foma and Erema!

Bowed low ( bow),
Oh, the hubcaps fell off!
We put on the caps -
Let's start again!
We both came to you -
Thomas and Erema
Look at people
Yes, show yourself.
Yes to the whole honest world
Tell a tall tale!

Like grandma's goat,
Varvarushka has gray hair,
What a smart guy he was:
I walked on water myself,
I lit the stove myself,

The bunny reads a poem chosen by the teacher.

I cooked the porridge myself,
I fed my grandfather and grandmother.
I asked for a tragus
At grandma's in the woods.

Goat ( adult)

You, grandma, you, Varvarushka!
Let me go, you goat
Into the woods for an hour.
I'll kill a wolf there -
I'll sew you a fur coat.
And I'll kill the fox -
I'll bring the collar!

She, the old lady, was delighted.
She opened the gates wide and wide,
She released the goat into a field far, far away.
How our goat went through the fir tree,

And a bunny runs towards the goat.

Oh you beast, you beast,
Tell me your name.
Aren't you my death?
Won't you eat me?

I am not your death
I won't eat you.
After all, I'm a bunny
After all, I'm small
I keep walking through the forest,
I'm looking for roots in the forest.

The bunny reads a poem chosen by the teacher.

Here comes our goat through the spruce tree,
Yes, often along Bereznichka.
And a little fox runs towards the goat,
The redhead is running.

Oh you beast, you beast,
Tell me your name.
Aren't you my death?
Won't you eat me?

I am not your death.
I won't eat you.
After all, I'm a fox
After all, I'm a redhead.
I keep walking through the forest,
And I'm looking for a hare.

Performed “Song of the Fox” (music by A. Filippenko, lyrics by T. Volgina)

Erema: Our goat went again, through the spruce forest, and along the frequented birch forest. And a gray wolf comes towards the goat.

Oh you beast, you beast,
Tell me your name.
Aren't you my death?
Won't you eat me?

I am already your death.
I'll eat you!

Father Frost:

The goat was scared.
The gray-haired man was scared.
What's in the spirit - go home
To your grandmother
Yes to Varvarushka.

Oh you, grandma,
You are Varvarushka,
Open the gate -
Adopt the goat!

The goat came running home and was exhausted.
Well, since then he has repented of going into the forest!

What, are you warm, Goat?
Are you cold?

Goat: Oh, it's cold!

Now we will play with you - we will warm you up.
Well, who has nothing to do -
Play until the evening!

The “Game with the Goat” is held.
Children walk around the goat, saying:

Kozlik went out for a walk,
He began to jump and gallop!
The goat is knocking its legs,
He shouts like a goat: “Me-e-e!”
The goat catches up with the children.

Presenter: Now let’s warm the Goat. Put whatever you have on him!

Children put a fox collar, sashes, scarves, sleeveless vests, beads, etc. on the Goat.

Presenter: Are you warm, Kozlik, or cold?

Goat: Warm!

Things are taken off the Goat, put on a large plate and covered with a shawl. A game of “Fanta” is being played

Presenter (taking out two sashes behind the Goat’s back).Tell us, Kozlik, what should these phantoms do?

Goat: Everyone is a fine fellow, following his example. Let them goose-step from end to end!

Two children run around the Christmas tree in a goose-step race.

Presenter (holding a wolf sleeveless vest and a fox collar behind the Goat’s back). What should these phantoms do?

Let them tell us the verse.
They will tell you and show you!

The Wolf and the Fox stage the poem “A gray wolf met a red fox in a dense forest...”

Presenter (holding a large shawl in his hands) Let's tell fortunes for this phantom too!

It was all: a poem
And a fun game...
Buffoon performance
Now it's time to watch!

Thomas and Erema (holding the shawl like a screen).

Get ready, people!
Don't crowd at the gate!
No crowding, no rush!
They are expecting you today
Russian nursery rhymes!
Not short, not long,
And such that just:
From me to you!

You can show a buffoon performance - a puppet theater scene.

Presenter (holding his beads behind the Goat’s back).

Fant is the last one standing
What does he get?

There is nothing to guess here,
And dance with Frost!

The bear walks slowly, bent over, grunting.

The bear straightens up and walks cheerfully.

Fedya: Show us, Mishenka, how little children stole peas in the summer: where it’s dry, they steal it, where it’s wet. , there on my knees.

It's time to go outside!

The holiday continues outside: sliding down the slides, playing snowballs, etc.

Christmas tale (script of theatrical performance)

Part 1. “And there was a miracle on earth.”

Music plays (“The Nutcracker”).

Presenter. Snow clouds roll and gather in fluff, a blizzard creeps up, powders the paths, sweeps with might and main, hits your eyes, blinds you. And the windy wind, rising like a whirlwind, plays across the field, bursts into the warm hut in clouds: don’t open, don’t open the door to the frost! And it is precisely during this cold, frosty, unkind time that one of the oldest, brightest, most beautiful and cheerful holidays falls - the Nativity of Christ. And this holiday is called so because it was at this time that a baby was born - the son of God, and his mother, the Virgin Mary, gave him the name Jesus, which means Savior.

The holy, solemn night quietly fell to the ground, bringing with it great joy to people. This happened in the distant southern country of Judea.

1st reader. By the will of Caesar that year

Within the borders of Judea

The census was going on everywhere. People,

I don’t dare resist the authorities,

Striving in a crowded crowd

From places of residence via long-distance travel

To register in your native city,

Where he and his fathers were from.

And not noticeable by anyone -

In a crowd noisy like an element,

For the same thing to the city of Bethlehem

Joseph and Mary went.

Commanding Decree

Called out in blind obedience,

And even this time there was

Fulfillment of heavenly will,

Although poor Bethlehem

Was considered poor, but from there

The Jews waited, meanwhile,

The leader of Israel, like a miracle.

Already from the darkness of gray times

From there it was fathers and sons

The coming of Christ is foretold

Prophets with prophetic lips.

2nd reader. It was already late. Throwing in the darkness,

The evening descended deaf and dumb,

When Mary and Joseph

We arrived in slumbering Bethlehem.

Among the crowded hotels

They, having not found shelter,

We stopped in a mountain cave,

Where the spicy smell of herbs wafted

And the herds converged for the night.

Presenter. This mysterious great night, on which the savior of the world was born, was unusually quiet. Miracles have happened throughout the universe...

"Ave Maria" sounds.

1st reader. At the same hour, in the cave where the Baby was born, a source of water splashed out of the stone.

2nd reader. In Spain at night a cloud appeared in the sky, seemingly lighter than the sun.

1st reader. An idol temple collapsed in Rome.

2nd reader. In the holy land of Palestine, a vineyard blossomed this winter.

Presenter. On that holy night when Christ was born in Bethlehem, not only people rejoiced at this event: all nature, majestic and bright, rejoiced, and brought all its gifts to the feet of Christ the Child.

A Christmas tree, a palm tree, an olive tree, and an angel appear.

Leading. At the very entrance to the cave where the Baby lay, there were three trees: a slender palm tree, a beautiful fragrant olive, a modest green spruce. The rustling of their branches became more and more joyful, more animated, and suddenly words were clearly heard in it.

Palm (addresses the olive tree). Let us go and worship the divine Child and offer our gifts.

Olive. Let's go to.

Christmas tree. Take me with you.

Palm (proudly). Where are you going with us?

Olive (mockingly). And what gifts can you bring? What do you have? Just prickly needles and nasty sticky resin.

The tree lowers its head low and moves away.

Presenter. The poor tree remained silent and humbly stepped back, not daring to enter the cave. And the palm tree and olive tree, bowing low, approached the Child.

Music is playing.

Palm(takes off the sheet and puts it to the den).

If driven by anger from cruel enemies

In the vast plain of quicksand

You, Lord, will seek shelter,

To wander like a bottomless wanderer in the desert,

I will open a green tent for you,

I'll spread out a flower carpet for you,

Come and rest in the peaceful shade:

There is a pleasant twilight, there is fresh shade.

Olive(releases fragrant oil from its branches).

If, Lord, you will be evil people

Left without food - accept my gift,

I will cordially extend the branches to you

And I’ll shake the golden fruit onto the ground.

Christmas tree(to the audience). They are right, I am too poor, insignificant and unworthy to appear to the beautiful Child (cries).

Leading: Tears are falling profusely

From shame and secret torment,

While everything is rejoicing,

smiling around.

But one of the angels saw and heard everything. He felt sorry for the poor tree. He wanted to help her.

Angel. Dear Christmas tree, you rejoiced and did not become proud, and with your radiance you try to illuminate your shamed sisters, the palm tree and the olive tree. You pay for their evil with good.

You are a good tree, dear Christmas tree, and for this you will be rewarded (the angel begins to hang shiny stars on the tree). From now on, when people celebrate Christmas, you will not be forgotten. Every year you will show off in the radiance of many lights, and small children, looking at you, will rejoice and have fun.

Adults will also rejoice, remembering the golden days of childhood when they see you.

2nd reader. Suddenly they started raining down - oh, miracle!

Stars raining fire,

They covered the dark Christmas tree,

They dotted everything around.

And she trembled

Raised the branches proudly,

Appeared to the world for the first time

Dazzling, bright.

Angel: Let's go, modest Christmas tree, you will always be a symbol of a merry Christmas holiday.

Leading. There are many wonderful legends associated with the Nativity of Christ. How do people of all latitudes celebrate Christmas and New Year?

Part 2. “New Year on the Planet.” Presentation

1st presenter. With the arrival of white Januarys

We are all becoming wiser -

New Year's signs

we take from all over the planet;

What to eat, what to drink, what to wear according to fashion...

Gray-haired times of New Year's Eve

In Italian there is rubbish in the windows

We throw it away - with grief in half,

rearranging furniture in the house

And we calculate endlessly

Some are mice, some are tigers, and some are sheep.

All human nature

Looking forward to Christmas.

From Santa Clauses of different colors

We are waiting for gifts and a lot of happiness,

And we believe that heaven

Miracles are in store for us all...

Leaves. Italian music is playing.

Leading 1: In Italy, the new year begins on January 6th. All Italian children are looking forward to the good fairy Befana. She flies in at night on a broom, opens the doors with a small key and, entering the room where the children sleep, fills the children's stockings with gifts.

Leading 2: On New Year's Eve, Italians throw out old clothes and even furniture from their apartment windows at the very last minute of the old year. Following them, firecrackers, confetti, and sparklers fly. It is generally accepted that if you throw away an old item on New Year's Eve, you will buy a new one in the coming year.

Leading 1: And not only Befana, but also the Italian Santa Claus gives gifts to little Italians. His name is Babbo Natale. He even has his own real mailing address to which you can send a letter.

1st presenter. Christmas for the British is a desired and favorite holiday. A few days before the first of January, musicians and singers take to the streets performing folk songs.

On New Year's Day, theaters stage performances based on English fairy tales for children. Lord Disorder leads a merry procession in which fairy-tale characters take part. In England, the custom arose of exchanging greeting cards at Christmas. The first New Year's card was printed in London in 1843.

English children traditionally play hide and seek on New Year's Eve.

2nd presenter. The New Year in Mongolia is called the “White Moon Holiday” and coincides with the herders' holiday. Competitions in strength, dexterity, and courage are held throughout the country. An indispensable treat on this day is boiled lamb and dairy products.

And immediately African music sounds.

Leading. In South Africa, New Year and Harvest Day are celebrated simultaneously. The entire population of the tribe gathers in the clearing. In the middle of the dance, the tribal leader throws a ripe pumpkin onto the ground. It breaks into pieces, which means the New Year has begun.

Leading 1: In Brazil, the New Year is celebrated with a cannon shot. Hearing the sound of a cannon, the Brazilians begin to hug, as they say, regardless of their faces. Many people believe that if at this moment you manage to kiss a person dear to you, then the whole year will be happy.

Leading 2: New Year's Eve in India is celebrated not at midnight, but at sunrise. On this day it is forbidden to quarrel or get angry. In some parts of India, on New Year's Day, young people pour water on each other, accompanied by congratulations and New Year wishes.

Leading 1: There must also be a pig on the Hungarian New Year's table - any kind (fried, chocolate). But under no circumstances are dishes made from chickens, ducks, or geese served. An old legend says that happiness can fly away on bird wings in the New Year.

Leading 2: In Germany, a mandatory item on the New Year's table is either a pig, or a pig's head, or a pig made from dough.

Leading 1: French Father Christmas Père Noël comes at night, leaving gifts in children's shoes. A must-have dish on the French holiday table is a large pie. The one who gets the bean baked in it receives the title of “bean king”, and on New Year’s Eve everyone obeys his funny orders.

Part 3. “Christmas in Russia.”

A Russian folk melody sounds. The mummers come into the hall singing.

Kolyada arrived on the eve of Christmas.

Hostess, dear mother, don’t be lazy, get up.

Bring me some pie. The way you serve the pie is a whole yard of your belly.

If you don't serve a pie, you'll have one chicken leg.

The hostess in the house is like a pancake in honey.

One by one they begin to speak to the hostess who appeared on the stage.

1. What will you give us, hostess?

2. A bag of money or a pot of porridge?

3. A jug of milk or a piece of pie?

4. Pennies or candy?

5. Or ten kopecks for gingerbread?

In chorus. Open the chest, give me a penny!

Even a pancake, even a lard wedge,

Even cookies, even jam

We're in for a treat!

Master (addresses the hostess). It’s not like the mummers came to us. According to the old custom, do not let them into the house until they guess our riddles.

Mummers sing.

Kolyada, Kolyada, on the eve of Christmas,

Good auntie, I wish I had a nice little pie.

Don't cut, don't break, serve quickly.

Two, three, we've been standing for a long time.

The stove is heating up, I want a pie.

Merry Christmas to you!

Mistress. Merry Christmas to you too! Guess our riddles, then you will receive gifts from us. ( The owner and hostess ask riddles.)

1. Broken during the day - inserted at night. (Ice hole.)

2. Downhill is a horse, and uphill is a piece of wood. (Sled.)

3. He stood outside the window during the day,

And at night he quietly entered the house.

Covered the window with patterns

But the sun rose - everything was glass. (Freezing.)

1st Mummer. But we, mistress, did not come to you alone. We brought a goat with us.

Master. Goat? Why do we need your goat?

2nd Mummer. So our goat is not an easy one. There is an ancient belief that she is a symbol of the vitality of the Earth and the harvest.

3rd Mummer. Where the goat passes, there the wheat sprouts.

Where a goat waves its tail, rye will sprout as a bush.

Where the goat steps, there will be a heap of grain.

And where it touches with a horn, it will fly up like a haystack.

4th Mummer. Let's call our goat: Goat, goat, come here. (Everyone calls the goat. A girl dressed as a goat enters:

A goat is coming to visit you, a dereza goat is coming to visit you,

A horned goat is coming, a butted goat is coming.

Suddenly the goat stumbles and falls:

Oh oh oh! Help! Give!

Master. And what happened?

Mistress. Maybe you can help her up?

5th Mummer. No, she will only rise up when you give her something or treat her to greatness.

Mistress. What does she like?

6th Mummer. Our goat needs a little: a bucket of buckwheat from the stove and a pot of oats for the end of its tail.

7th Mummer. A sieve of oats, sausage on top of it, and three pieces of lard to make the goat stand up! ( The owners give gifts to the goat, it gets up and, dancing merrily, leaves. The mummers begin to carol.)

Boys. How the carol went for a walk along the street,

Walk along the street and wish Happy New Year.

Kolyada, Kolyada, where have you been before?

Girls. I spent the night in the field, and now I’ve come to you.

1. I'm a little boy, I play the pipe,

I play the pipe and amuse you all.

And you people, know, give me a pretty penny.

2. Kolyad-Kolyadin, I’m alone with my father,

A short skin, give me a pie, mistress.

3. Here comes the carol before Christmas,

And what did you, carol, bring to the owners?

4. To good owners - a cow and a calf,

A horse with a foal, a pig with a piglet.

In chorus. Live for you, buckwheat, a hundred measures of peas.

Be born, rye-wheat, for happiness and health.

Mistress. Here's a penny and a gingerbread for each of you.

2nd Mummer. And now, guys, let's go down the hill.

Cheerful music sounds again, and the children dance off the stage.

The progress of the holiday:

Children from the older group are invited as spectators.

The lights are dim. On the screens there is a starry night with twinkling stars. The intro to the song “The Little Christmas Tree is Cold in Winter” plays. Two curly-haired girls in blue and pink dresses, stylized as nightgowns, with tinsel in their hands, enter the hall, holding hands.

They sing a song while decorating a segment of the nativity scene depicting a Christmas tree. The final verse of the song sounds like our great-grandmothers sang it:

The Christmas tree likes our celebration,

Merry, merry Christmas,

Merry, merry Christmas!

The girls come to the window.

Masha

Dashenka, we have waited for Christmas. The only pity is that there is no snow outside. What would Christmas be without snow? Why did Winter forget about him?

Dasha

Winter only does what God commands. Nothing happens by chance. And we are given only what we ourselves deserve. So, Masha, have you been listening to your mother all year?

Masha

Just once I didn’t listen.

Dasha

That's why there is no snow!

Masha

So what should we do now?

Dasha

Good deeds must be done. Let's tell the kids a story... Christmas...

Masha

Let's!

Children-puppeteers run into the hall to the magical ringing of bells.

1 child

Come on, come on in

And look at us.

2 child

The whole world:

Both big and small children

Considered happy

This day on the planet!

3 child

Now we will tell you everything, everything

And we’ll even show you a little.

Children puppeteers take their places near the nativity scene. The music “Night” is playing - an instrumental sketch.

1 child(turning the nativity scene with a segment decorated for a night with a “burning fire”, lowers the shepherd puppet)

The wind is blowing

The fire flickers

The sky is beautiful

Like a starry tent.

2 child(puts down the second shepherd doll)

Near the fire

The shepherds say

All about the herds

About sheep and lambs.

1 child(turns the doll)

Suddenly they hear

In the forest behind the village

Quiet, soft,

Nice singing.

2 child(rocking the doll)

What is this? Stars

Singing to us from heaven?

1 child(rocking the doll)

Or plays

Forest with leaves?

Masha(comes out with angel wings: then she is an Angel in blue)

Listen up people!

I brought you news:

Born at night

Savior Christ!

2 child(puppeteers take their puppets out of the segment)

So that for Christ

Take a look out of the corner of your eye

All the shepherds

They hit the road...

An angel in blue turns the nativity scene with a segment that depicts a cave with a seated figurine of a mother and baby in a manger.

1 child

Here they come

They all go to the cave,

Honey and herbs

They brought it as a gift to Christ.

1st and 2nd children

We stood and prayed

They worshiped Christ.

Merry Christmas!

3 child(lowers down the Magi puppets, sways them to the rhythm of speech)

Wise Men from the East

They came to Christ

And there are many gifts

They brought different ones.

We stood and prayed

They worshiped Christ.

Merry Christmas!

The puppets are fixed on the screen, and the child puppeteers sit near the nativity scene. Dasha comes out - she is now an Angel in pink.

Angel in pink

Ah, our little Christ sleeps in a cave in a simple manger! No, you can't do that. We need to decorate the cave, let it be as beautiful and elegant as possible.

Angel in blue

I know what to do! You fly south, and I will fly north and we will bring something with which we can decorate the cave.

Angels run away in different directions. Screensavers appear on the screens: blooming multicolor on one and white silence on the other.

Yes, it’s always warm in the south, flowers are always growing, so it wasn’t difficult for the Angel in Pink to collect a lot of scarlet roses, blue lilies, bright yellow mimosas and bring it all to the cave. Just look how beautiful it is!

Flower girls dance “Waltz of the Flowers” by P.I. Tchaikovsky. Then they sit down near the nativity scene.

And in the north at that time it was winter, and the Angel in blue, not finding any flowers, wanted to fly back, when suddenly he saw a green Christmas tree among the snow. So the modest northern beauty found herself in a sacred cave among flowers praising themselves.

Song “Couplets of Flowers” (music by Yudina, lyrics by the author)

1. Rose:

I am a lush beauty

Everyone should like me.

I'm proud and bright

I will be a gift to Christ!

2. Lily:

And I'm so tender

Nice and fresh!

And my cheerful, ringing laughter

The baby loves the most!

3. Mimosa:

To tell you the truth, friends,

Of course, I am the most beautiful of all!

There’s not even anything to guess about -

I will decorate the manger!

To lose Christmas tree says: But I have nothing to decorate myself with and decorate the cave with. I'd better step aside.

The sad Christmas tree moves to the side, the flower girls laugh quietly.

Angel in blue

Why aren't you ashamed?

Flower girls lower their heads.

Angel in pink

Wait, Yolochka, we will now call the most beautiful stars here and they will help you dress up.

To the magical music, the Angels wave their hands, scattering glittering confetti. Stars run out into the hall - double-sided shapeshifting dolls, which have a pictogram of a positive emotion on one side, and a negative one on the other.

“Dance of the Stars” by P. Moriah.

Angel in blue

Hello, dear stars, please introduce yourself.

1 star

Kindness! (curtsy)

2 stars

Joy! (curtsy)

3 star

Friendliness! (curtsy)

Angel in pink

Dear stars, could you decorate our Christmas tree?

Stars

With pleasure!

Angel in blue

Well, get yourself in order, the most worthy of you will shine on the top of the Christmas tree.

Angels go behind the screen.

1 star(takes out a fake mirror)

Well, I will be the most worthy!

2 stars

No, I, your dress is ugly!

3 star

Give the mirror to me - I am the most worthy!

Schumann's "Rush" music plays. The stars push and turn their icons over to the opposite ones. Angels run into the hall.

Angel in pink

What's happened? Who do you look like?

Angel in blue

Where is Kindness, Joy, Friendliness? I see only Anger, Contempt and Hostility. We don't need you like that for Christmas.

The stars ask each other for forgiveness, turning their doll over to the positive side.

1 star

Forgive me, sisters, for being so icy and prickly.

2 stars

Don't be angry with me, I'm so guilty of you!

3 star

Never, never again will I offend you, either in word or in deed!

Christmas tree

Oh, look, the stars have become beautiful again!

Angel in pink

You see, as soon as you asked each other for forgiveness, you became more beautiful than before.

Angel in blue

Let's decorate our Christmas tree soon!

To the music of “Waltz on Ice” by Petrov, Flowers and Stars surround the Christmas tree and put a crown on it, a shiny mesh with rhinestones.

Rose

Look, the Baby in the cradle has woken up and is reaching for the Christmas tree!

Lily

Of course, all children will love such a pretty, elegant tree.

Mimosa

And such a wonderful holiday - Christmas!

Song “Christmas” by T. Shorygina.

1. We will decorate the spruce with a star

And a golden garland.

Tomorrow there will be a celebration -

Christmas! Christmas!

2. Christmas trees are a beautiful outfit,

The lights on it are burning.

Tomorrow there will be a celebration -

Christmas! Christmas!

3. Let's sing and have fun,

Spin around the Christmas tree.

Tomorrow there will be a celebration -

Christmas! Christmas!

The time of Christmas is a time of miracles and Christmas gifts.

The nativity scene is turned to the side decorated to look like a Christmas tree; there are gifts there. Children participating in the performance bring surprises made with their own hands to their younger friends and sit next to them. During the distribution of gifts, the Angels go behind the screen and return from there with Masha and

Dasha. The lights dim and a video of falling snow appears on the screens.

Masha

Look, Dashenka, it’s snowing!

Dasha

So we did a good deed...

General bow against the background of the ringing of bells.

Lyubov Erokhin

Leading:

At night, travelers walked along a dusty road: a young woman, Maria, and her elderly husband, Joseph. They traveled a long way under the twinkling stars until they came to the city of Bethlehem. They were very tired and wanted to rest, so they knocked on the door of the inn. (Knocking)

Master:

Who's knocking on my door? Don't you see - the hotel is full! With so many guests I'll soon go crazy! Go away good people! Look for somewhere else to stay for the night. There is no place for you here!

Joseph: We shouldn’t return to Nazareth. Maria is completely tired. Let us into the house quickly. Is there really no free bed left in it?

Master: Where should I place you? Well, perhaps to the cave with the cattle?

Maria: Let’s not argue Joseph, let’s spend the night there!

Leading: And that night a miracle happened - the Lord was born. Mary swaddled him and put him in a manger.

Leading:

On Holy Night on a Fat Field

Without knowing rest and dreams.

Herds roaming free

A family of shepherds was feeding

1 Shepherd: The night is dark, let us not lose our herds

2 Shepherd: Look, what a strong, bright light suddenly poured from the heavens!

Angel:

I was sent by God to bring

Good news for people!

Celebration on earth and in heaven

Christ our God Christmas!

1 Shepherd:

Let's go, shepherds

Marvel at the miracle

Marvel at the miracle

Worship God.

Angel:

I, Angel, will show you the way

I will show you the way to Christ God!

2 Shepherd:

Thank you for wanting to accompany us,

But just what should we give Him?

1 Shepherd:

We are simple people

Here's bread, cheese and honey...

Angel:

And let everyone take faith on the road!

2 Shepherd:

And I am fresh hay from fragrant grass

I'll put him in a manger

He is the best in the world!

Music (they approach the cave and look in)

1 Shepherd:

Everything came true according to the Angel’s word!

We went into the barn and saw there:

Royal baby in straw

He lay and smiled at us (the shepherds bow, leave gifts and leave)

Leading:

A golden star lit up in the sky

This star was not simple

The Almighty God Himself lit that star

The star is burning, shining

The path to salvation is illuminated for us! (The Magi appear)

1-Magi:

Have you seen a bright star?

What predicted by ancient writings?

2-Magi:

Yes! I saw, I'm just waiting for you.

To share the holy rejoicing!

3-Magi:

Let's get ready to go

Let every child be a saint

Take something as a gift!

1-Magi:

He is the King of kings, and that means it is necessary

Bring him gold as a gift!

1-Magi:

In the vessel I carry something else -

There is myrrh and aloe.

1-Magi:

He is Divine, and that's why

I bring incense for him!

Leading:

According to the voice of God's command

They were led by a bright star

Through deserts and villages

Through forests and cities

And the wise men carried their gifts after her to Bethlehem.

And on the straw there they found the King of kings!

(the Magi bow, leave their gifts and leave)

Leading:

Chicken, you understood, of course, a long time ago,

The day of sorrow is far away, but joy is out the window

Knocking on us with a spruce branch.

And new news for every year...

Our Christ was born!

Angel:

And for you chicken

Gift in Christmas

I found your mother

Meet her...

Chicken:

Ko-ko-ko! My favorite chicken

ABOUT! How you have grown!

We are together, thank God!

Christ save you all!

Leading:

Shine star, shine with eight rays

Grow for all the born Christ

We pray with lit candles

We had the opportunity to serve you!
